Hi,

I'm Cathy - a Canadian artist and surface pattern designer. I create vibrant and joyful prints for surfaces such as textiles and home decor.

 

My patterns begin with organic line drawings on paper with a process that is very intutitive and spontaneous, especially when I am drawing from my imagination.  I like to create designs that are full of movement, drama and colour and so I look for inspiration from nature, my flower garden, art history and my surroundings.

 

I love to see my art come alive on fabrics for clothing, wallpaper for the home and items for everyday use.
